The First Regional American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) Conference is coming to Charleston, SC. Starting on Wednesday, May 18th, the three day event will feature workshops and presentations from featured keynote speakers, including some of the world's leading experts in the field.
Following Rick Warren's vision for the Church to become more involved in mental health care after his son committed suicide, Seacoast Church is spearheading the effort in the Lowcountry. They are sponsoring The Struggle is Real 2016 Summit, a regional continuing-education conference for the AACC. The AACC is the largest national group of Christian counselors and hosts a national conference every other year that draws over 1500 attendees.
The Struggle is Real 2016 Summit will host national mental health experts and provide continuing education credit for physicians, therapists and pastors. However, anyone is invited and is encouraged to participate. It is a great opportunity to learn more about the latest advances in the integration of science and faith!
