Mary-Stewart Carpenter, M.A.
Licensed Professional Counselor
Mary-Stewart holds a B.S. degree in Education from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Counseling from Liberty University where she was taught a scripturally and clinically integrated approach to therapy. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina and is presently working toward her certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), considered the most effective scientific model to date for facilitating change and healing in couples’ relationships.
Mary-Stewart feels called to help people find health and wholeness and building strong relationships. She believes that relationships are foundational in helping people discover their true identity and purpose and that symptoms are part of God’s governing protection telling us something needs to be addressed.
Mary-Stewart and her husband Bud have been married for 37 years. They have raised three adult children in the Lowcountry and have three grandchildren.
