Tom Folse, M.A., M.A.P.
Licensed Professional Counselor
Tom is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Banking and Finance. Additionally, he has a Masters in Aviation Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a M.A. in Psychology/Clinical Counseling from The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Tom was a pilot in the USAF for over 20 years and later taught Aviation Science in a local high school for 18 years. He has been in private counseling practice since 1998.
Tom’s leadership skills come to bear in building working relationships with his clients which empower them to take what they learn during counseling into the world in which they work and live. Helping others realize their full potential is his passion. He has worked with people managing high stress jobs and difficult life situations by helping them to strengthen their spiritual roots and to develop coping skills enabling them to work through crisis issues. He is currently involved in training for Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples.
Tom has lived all over the world during his military service, but has traveled full circle to Charleston where he was born. He finds peace in the woods as a bow hunter, and he reads avidly.
